Charming Cambridge Row House Renovation + Addition

Our client family loved their 1870's Cambridge row house. Despite its crooked floors and diy band-aids they could see the lovely historic lady waiting to be reborn.

We completely rebuilt the small rear addition, gutted the interior, reframed the saggy bits and reworked the layout to meet the needs of modern life. Contemporary finishes were selected to compliment the existing historic character details of the charming home, including the original entry awning, foyer paneling, and salvaged antique wrought iron gate.
The building enclosure was overhauled to meet the energy stretch code and new windows were added with the approval of the Cambridge Zoning Board.

This classic lady has a new life!
