Playful Somerville Kitchen + Mini Addition

The client family loves their Somerville neighborhood but were feeling cramped by the many little rooms of their home.

With a clever reuse of first floor space we reclaimed a basement stairway and part of the front porch to give them a new entry foyer, playful powder room, more functional kitchen and additional flexible living area. We also reconfigured the third floor guest area to create a family room with tree house like roof deck!

The client's fun, outdoorsy personalities are reflected in the colorful finish selections making the home feel custom and relaxed.
